The FIH Hockey World Cup starts this week: are you ready?

The countdown is almost over. This week, the world’s best hockey nations arrive in Belgium and the Netherlands for the FIH Hockey World Cup 2026. For Belgium, hosted at the brand-new Belfius Hockey Arena in Wavre. With 13 match days, world-class hockey and a vibrant event atmosphere, everything is set for a historic sporting summer.

Beyond the action on the pitch, visitors can enjoy a full fan experience. The event site features a lively Public Plaza with partner activations, hockey shops, food & beverage outlets, daily entertainment, signing sessions with Belgian hockey legends, hockey initiations on the Audi Progress Pitch and The Daily Corner, the official World Cup talk show.

Highlights also include the Opening Ceremony and Henri PFR Afterparty on 15 August, World Cup Parties on 21 and 22 August, and the Para Hockey World Cup Final on 24 August.
