The FIH Hockey World Cup in Wavre is about much more than world-class hockey. From live music and fan experiences to exclusive legendary player appearances and our very own daily talkshow, there will be something happening both on and off the pitch every day of the tournament.

Opening Ceremony & Afterparty with Henri PFR

The festivities begin on 15 August with a vibrant opening ceremony ahead of Belgium vs France. Local dance performers, a light show and an electric atmosphere will set the tone for an unforgettable tournament.

And the celebration doesn’t stop at the final whistle: Belgian DJ and producer Henri PFR will host the official afterparty in the Public Plaza, turning the opening day into a night to remember.
