A media guide containing all necessary media related information will be sent to all accredited media. If you have any question on media related topics in Wavre, please contact contact@hockeyworldcup2026.be.
Media accreditation
Media representatives wishing to cover this event on-site must apply for accreditation beforehand through the online platform.
Deadline for application: 1 June 2026
Important notes:
- Before accessing the application form, applicants will have to read and confirm their acceptance of the Media Accreditation Terms and Conditions
- Applicants will automatically receive a message confirming that their application has been received and is being processed
- Submitting an application does not automatically guarantee that a media accreditation will be issued. Information regarding the application’s acceptance or denial will be sent to each applicant by June 8th.
- No access to any media facilities of the event can be granted without a media accreditation
- Rights-holders have to apply for an accreditation to FIH Senior TV and Broadcast Manager Segundo Vila (segundo.vila@fih.hockey)
Accomodation
A limited number of hotel rooms have been secured in Wavre for accredited media during the FIH Hockey World Cup 2026. The hotel is located less than 5 km from the venue, ensuring convenient access throughout the event. A shuttle will be available to go back and forward.
Once your accreditation request has been approved by the FIH and Hockey Belgium you will receive the reservation details.
